The FLACS I Career Day Fair, held on May 13, 2016, many professionals gave of their time to talk to FLACS Scholars about their particular careers. One such guest was Mr. Esteban Rivera, who is a Probation Officer in the NYC Department of Probation-Adolescent Unit, and who practically grew up at LPAC, our sponsoring organization. Officer Rivera is the eldest son of the founder, Reverend Raymond Rivera and, like many of the community people who work at our FLACS schools, the roots and inspiration for their success were nurtured at LPAC. Ms. Debra Friday, Principal of FLACS I is seen in this picture with Mr. Rivera as she thanked him for his participation and for the encouragement he provided to our students.
